Pasha Shamar Franklin
Miss Black South Carolina USA 2008

Pasha Franklin is a 2007 graduate of the
Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities with a
concentration in dance. She is a Freshman at Lander
University in Greenwood , South Carolina with a major in
Pharmacy. Miss Franklin's hopes of one day becoming a member of the
Pharmacy Board of America will enable her to take part
in lowering the prices of medicines and joining the fight
against AIDS.
Pageantry is nothing new for Pasha.
She has many titles such as Miss Black Teen Orangeburg
USA, , 1st Runner-Up Festival of Roses Pageant, Miss South
Carolina Teen USA State Finalist, Miss Teen Maize Days, Miss
Mellichamp Elementary, Miss Robert E. Howard, Little Miss
S.T.A.R., All-American Teen Miss National, and Miss Black
Low Country USA. Some of her other accomplishments are Who's
Who Among America's High School Students, Lander University
Dance Troupe, Tamlyn’s Dance Center, Orangeburg Civic
Ballet, and Betty Lane Modeling School. She volunteers
as a dance instructor during her spare time.In conjunction with
her many accolades, Pasha is also an aspiring model/actress.
Pasha will represent South Carolina in The
Miss Black USA pageant in June 2008, Las Vegas Nevada.
